Bloemetjes (Mini Bouquets)

What Are Bloemetjes? (pronounced “blu-muh-tjuhs”)

Bloemetjes means “little flowers” in Dutch. At Flutterby Flower Farm, we use the term for our bouquets of seasonal flowers in a small milk bottle that make perfect small gifts and individual place settings. They are very popular with our customers, and we find this bouquet size is a great way to add a lot of cheer with a minimal footprint in small residential care or hospital rooms, on an office desk, on the breakfast table, or in a child’s room.

Bloemetjes are sold at our periodic Pop-Up Sales and Online-Only Sales, and they are also available to order May through September from our À la Carte Floral Arrangements for Weddings, Events and Gifts.

Super Bloemetjes

We also offer a larger Super Bloemetjes bouquet—still in a small milk bottle vase, and with more and taller flowers. The Super Bloemetjes is a composed arrangement, providing a bigger impact than its smaller sibling while retaining the same minimal footprint. See below for photos illustrating the difference between Bloemetjes and Super Bloemetjes.
